Description
The Geospatial Data Curation and Data Enrichment Service Offering Manager will be responsible for the vision and solutions for 1898 & Co's spatial enterprise systems solution offerings. This includes product planning and marketing, business development in the early stages of the offering, prioritizing product and service offering deliverables, gathering, and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the engineering team to deliver winning client solutions.
The Geospatial Data Curation and Data Enrichment Service Offering Manager will work with the 1898 & Co. technology consulting, marketing, and support personnel to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are attained and the product and marketing efforts support Burns & McDonnell's overall strategy.
Is the face of the Geospatial Data Curation and Data Enrichment offerings for 1898 & Co.
Defines the Geospatial Data Curation and Data Enrichment service offering strategy, build, and maintain a roadmap and provide continuous iterative updates to meet market requirements.
Develop technical requirements for service offerings by working with stakeholders (both internal and external) as needed, ensuring that stakeholder and market needs are attained.
Manage and grow technical teams with the competencies required to ensure successful delivery of Geospatial Data Curation and Data Enrichment service offering projects.
Evaluate external partnerships, marketing, sales, and licensing opportunities to expand business opportunities for the Geospatial Data Curation and Data Enrichment offerings.
Provide technical and industry expertise with respect to the competition.
Develop and present the core positioning and messaging.
Compile and present business plans to secure internal and external financing within established risk and financial parameters.
Perform service offering demonstrations to customers in a variety of settings.
Research, propose, and assist with service offering pricing.
Develop and implement sales tools and collateral.
Develop and present sales briefings and training programs.
Coordinate with Burns & McDonnell International staff helping to develop and refine recruiting strategies and assist with and lead recruiting activities.
Present at industry conferences.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information systems, geography/GIS, business, engineering, architecture, or related degree from an accredited program.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant geospatial consulting experience, preferably in the electric, water/wastewater, telecommunications, or gas industries.
Experience with the Esri ArcGIS platform
MBA or ability to achieve preferred.
Expert experience in investigating, evaluating, selecting, and driving the development of services and products for an organization.
Strong facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience having led and completed projects from business proposal through post-production support preferred.
Ability to filter and distill relevant information and convey business and technical concepts to a diverse client base and internal technical teams.
Excellent planning and analytical skills.
Broad knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
