Blue Marble Geographics is looking to add a smart, user focused entry
level Software Developer to assist and grow our in-house development
team by supporting and maintaining cutting-edge GIS software tools. This
is an opportunity to work within a dynamic, small team-oriented software
company in Maine. Successful candidates will interact effectively with
others and work as a team to meet group and organizational goals. They
will also need to be technically competent and able to think and work
independently (with the support of some great mentors). Blue Marble

Responsibilities will include:
Assisting Blue Marble customers using our development tools and
applications
Creating and maintaining internal build procedures
Generating code sample, scripts, and testing units
Helping cultivate code quality by keeping our version control system
organized
Maintaining and updating a continuous integration pipeline
Analyzing customer issues and identifying/implementing solutions
Participating and contributing to our overall software development
process
Learning about the GIS development world and grow with us
