Blue Marble is looking to hire a Quality Engineer team member for our
mapping software product line. We are looking for an energetic,
tech-savvy individual that loves to learn. This position is part of our
Development and Q/A team and will drive the automation of our internal
testing process that in turn supports our product release cycles.
The Quality Engineer will contribute to Blue Marbles growth by
Building custom code in various languages including C++, Python, and
C#
Generate scripts and testing units; maintain and update a continuous
integration pipeline (Jenkins)
Configuring and maintaining various components inside the internal
version control systems (SVN, and Git)
Testing to ensure software and processes meet documented
expectations within documented constraints using manual and
automated testing practices
Review, vet, and confirm bug reports by internal users/testers and
report them to the appropriate developers
Participate in the product steering committee for future release and
test planning
Correlate areas of focus, and prioritize testing methodologies based
on prior areas of concern and areas of current/future development
focus
