Your Impact
The Geospatial Data Engineer will perform r api d application design, ETL , data analysis, and interpretation. Develops rules and methodologies for data collection, integration, and analysis. Develop and maintain a Python -based data warehouse processing system running in Google, AWS, and Azure cloud environments. You will work closely with intelligence analysts, ETL engineers, and data base administrators to incorporate new features and scale the application. Utilize best practices for source control, testing, and deployment of software changes.

Responsibilities
Lead and participate in the architectural design of features early in the development cycle
Work with Customer Stakeholders, Program Managers, and Product Owners to translate the road map features into management components/tasks, estimate timings, and resources, suggest solutions, and identify possible risk
Support the team to ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed per the sprint goal
Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality
Help to follow development testing, exploratory testing, AI testing, and/or test automation
Own your code in production, respond to incidents as they occur, and participate in retros to determine how to be better in the future
Work towards reducing the total number of defects in the module/product to industry standards by catching and fixing issues early in development
Resolve all critical and high-priority security defects in-sprint, or by the gui delines set by the SecOps team
Help build high-performing teams, grow and mentor the technical skills within the team and create development opportunities for them
Required Skills
Active TS /SCI clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related technical field - Master's degree is a plus!
5+ years of experience as a software or data engineer
5+ years of experience developing with Python
Experience with scripting languages such as Perl , Python or Java script and their associated Frameworks and tools
Experience working in and developing applications and tools across technologies such as AWS, Azure , and Google Cloud.
Experience with RESTful web services.
Demonstrated knowledge of open-source and commercial geospatial solutions like GeoServer , MapServer or ESRIArcGIS
Practical experience with Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards-based web services such as Web Map Service (WMS), Web Feature Service (WFS) and Web Map Tile Service (WMTS).
Experience with container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes , Docker , etc.)
Understands and familiarity with SDLC concepts such as Agile , DevOps and CICDDelivery Pipelines
Experience working with large volumes of time series data and building services, API s, and applications based of it
Experience working with relational/non-relational data bases and understanding of storage technologies (like PostgresqlMongoDB and BigQuery )
Experience with DevOps tools like Git
Experience with Agile development concepts and related tools
Desired Skills
Experience working with Node.js development with libraries like React.js and/or Electron
Experience with remote procedural call technologies. Eg. gRPC and JSON RPC.
Experience in designing multi-tier application architecture and distributed caching solutions
Experience in Python parallelization/multiprocessing (e.g. Dask) and vectorization
Experience with Python web server frameworks like Flask , Fast API , Pydantic, Gunicorn, Uvicorn
Knowledge with NLP modules including like NLTK, SpaCy and Gensim
Knowledge of Geospatialdata processing- Libraries include Geo Pandas , Folium, Shapely, RasterIO, QGIS and ArcPy
Knowledge of Python ML stack modules like Scikit-learn, Keras and Tensorflow
DevOpsexperience with Google Cloud Platform, Azure and AWS
Able to generate a REST API with a minimal amount of code
