Title:
GEOINT (RADAR) Processing Systems Engineer
KBR is looking for personnel with experience providing GEOINT mission knowledge and expertise to support all lifecycle aspects and phases of the system engineering and acquisition of large (>$50
million in value) system acquisitions. This also includes applying the mission knowledge and expertise to support pre-acquisition activities such as analysis of alternatives, market research, and applied research.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Provides subject matter expertise and technical support to facilitate the development of GEOINT capabilities cooperatively with development contractors and mission partners.
Perform engineering and analysis to ensure programs successfully develop and deliver core mission processing services in all phases of the acquisition life cycle
Interface directly with development Prime Contractors in the role of oversight, monitoring of software development and integration activities and ensuring alignment with Government requirements and objectives
Manage projects and conduct assessment including, technical baseline, schedules, dependencies, risks and cost impacts
Advise architectural decisions to include investment strategies, acquisition portfolio priorities, risk assessment of project execution
Conduct Strategic planning for both mission architecture needs (technical trade studies, definition of future architecture planning, software service recommendations etc.) and programmatic (Program Budget Guidance, cost estimation, generation of acquisition schedules)
Develop Concepts of Operations (CONOPS)
Develop enterprise, system, functional, performance, and interface requirements
Minimum Qualifications
TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Technology, Engineering, or Business Management with appropriate technical experience
6+ years' experience with IC, DoD, and/or commercial space architectures, systems and/or operations
Demonstrated experience in requirements development
Demonstrated experience in processing methodology of RADAR
Experience in RADAR tasking, command & control, collection, processing, and dissemination
Experience in Space Systems Ground Software, Space Development Programs or Mission Operations programs
