Leidos has an opening for a Senior Web Developer to join our Cross Center team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (DoD HPCMP).
This is a virtual position that can be accomplished from anywhere in the continental US.
TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN THAT CLEARANCE.
8570 Certification - IAT-I is required to start (ex. Security+ and A+)
If you are interested in doing Web development that supports an extraordinary mission, working with our customer who runs the DoD's largest supercomputing centers and enabling users of some of the most powerful supercomputers in the world, we could use your experience and enthusiasm! As part of a small team, you will use your Web Development expertise to provide DoD scientists the information they need to effectively use these resources. You will be directly supporting the warfighter.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance public and private websites and web applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
Create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using JavaScript/JQuery and Bootstrap.
Ensure compliance with DoD and Federal regulations, including Section 508 accessibility standards and Privacy Act restrictions.
Enforce typographic and visual standards and provide quality control for all content.
Maintain code quality through best practices and standards.
Stay up-to-date on emerging web technologies and evaluate for use within a secure environment.
Investigate and resolve web-related trouble tickets in a timely manner.
Contribute to immediate to long-range strategic plans to enhance the user experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' work experience or equivalent experience
8570 Certification - IAT-I is required to start (ex. Security+ and A+)
Proven experience as a LAMP Stack developer with a strong portfolio of websites or web applications.
Experience developing in a Linux environment is a must.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, XML, and Bootstrap.
Effective communicator able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Substantial experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, SQL, XML, shell scripting, Photoshop, vi/vim, MS Word Desired Skills and Experience
Experience with customized Bootstrap deployments and responsive design
Experience with MySQL/MariaDB
Experience with PII and CUI guidance for federal websites - Experience enforcing Section 508 compliance
General understanding of Web STIGs
General understanding of SSL and Apache
Experience maintaining technical documentation
Experience in an HPC environment Other Requirements:

Typical Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field/concentration and four (4) years or more experience, Additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
