US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.
Prospective candidates will be joining a team that is directly supporting the US SOUTHCOM with their information sharing initiatives. Additionally, you will be part of an Enterprise US BICES-X Consolidated Dissemination Center (CDC), which is a Mission Support team tasked with providing translation and interpretation support SOUTHCOM Intelligence Directorate lines of effort.
Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
Participates in special projects as required.
Specific certifications or military education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.
Disseminates information to support security cooperation based on real-world events and utilizes best practices to ensure information is available, retrievable, and discoverable to IC consumers in a timely manner.
Works closely with US producers to disseminate their information to Coalition networks, including US BICES and other COCOM networks.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience required.
Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
BA/BS degree - may substitute education for additional years of experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence production and analysis.
Spanish language proficiency is required (minimum DLPT 2+/2+ equivalent). Portuguese language proficiency is a plus. Candidate will be required to both translate text and interpret spoken language which is often complex, formal, and tradecraft specific.
Experience with CCMD Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO) for review and release of products to wider audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in working with CCMD Foreign Disclosure Officers (FDO) in working to get products released to a wider audience than originally intended.
Experience supporting multinational customers preferred.
The likely salary range for this position is $60,605 - $81,995. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
