Responsibilities
As part of the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence, the primary responsibility of this position is to provide BI reporting solutions using SAP HANA database and SAP BW on HANA application environments with various front end reporting solutions such as Tableau, PowerBI and SAP BusinessObjects to all business functions for IGT globally.
Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Tableau Server environments, ensuring secure and efficient user access across global teams.
Oversee Tableau Server performance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning to optimize resource usage and server uptime.
Manage user access, permissions, and object-level security within Tableau to align with IGT's security standards.
Develop and enforce best practices in Tableau data connections, data source management, and publishing workflows to ensure reliable data and optimized server performance.
Provide guidance and training for Tableau users, empowering teams to leverage Tableau for effective data visualization and reporting.
Interface with developers and business analysts to gather and analyze business requirements to design and implement efficient and scalable data models and reporting solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and validate data requirements and deliver effective visualizations and reporting solutions in alignment with business objectives.
Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data flows to extract data from various source systems and load it into the SAP BW on HANA and Native HANA environments.
Optimize data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure high performance and data integrity.
Create and manage data transformations, including complex calculations, aggregations, and derived metrics, to support business reporting and analysis needs.
Develop and maintain complex queries and data extraction logic to enable efficient data retrieval and reporting from sources such as SAP ECC, S4/HANA, SalesForce, MSSQL, etc.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience: 8+ years in business analysis and reporting in an ERP environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server administration to support secure, high-performance environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, PowerBI Desktop, Service, Gateways, SAP HANA Database connector.
SQL Server development skills - views, queries, and stored procedures.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices to create compelling and meaningful visualizations for business users.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data governance principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Strong project management skills to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with SAP Data Services or other ETL tools for data integration and data quality management.
Proven track record of successfully delivering solutions on SAP BW on HANA and Native HANA, preferably with cross-functional teams.
Strong background in financial reporting, variance analysis, and understanding of accounting principles to support effective financial planning.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $76,179 - $180,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
