The purpose of this role is to support the Consumer Lending Data Strategy covering all aspects of the business including product, credit, marketing, pricing and operations in order to deliver strong and resilient data and reporting infrastructure. The purpose of this role is to enable a highly-effective, data-driven environment in a comprehensible, actionable, and engaging manner to provide performance monitoring and decision support while ensuring that data knowledge and insights are accurate, timely, and comprehensive utilizing ethical, efficient, and scalable methods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for delivering compelling executive presentations to stakeholders, clients and internal teams. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to summarize complex information into clear and concise presentation.
Extensive understanding of the drivers, inputs and performance of a consumer lending company's income and balance sheet statements.
Implement data strategies that support multiple network environments that include relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
Evaluate, manage, and report on production and portfolio risk-adjusted metrics including Asset Quality for decision support of portfolio.
Translate data into engaging visualizations using current state and future state business intelligence and big data tools and methods.
Develop, enhance, and maintain processes that generate large datasets for use by analytical teammates and third parties.
Establish working relationships and be recognized as the subject matter expert for dashboards and reporting.
Manage transition and scaling of one-time analytics to on-going production reporting.
Support the company mission by providing internal clients with tools they need to measure key performance indicators for their decision-making process.
Source new data elements to be housed in both structured and unstructured data environments.
Stay abreast with latest technology and trends in the market and identify possible implementation strategies.
Identify and remediate any risk associated with business intelligence, reporting and data governance, including staying abreast of all applicable rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

10+ years financial industry work experience in a business intelligence delivery, data management, or financial analytical capacity; Thorough knowledge of lending (consumer and/or wholesale), including credit risk and regulatory requirements; Proficient with SAS, SQL, or other query languages.
4+ years managing developer/data/analytical environments.
Utilizing experience with big data frameworks
Previous data management, data governance, and data quality experience.
Previous positions that bridge technical talent and business talent
Apply knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, Qlik and Power BI to present analysis results to Business partners
Work with technology partners to come up with technical solution for analytics-powered products
Advanced degree or significant work-related experience in information systems, computer science, data science, computational finance, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experiences of finance and banking industry
2+ years' experience with fintech lending products.
2+ years interacting with regulators and senior management.
