Job Opportunity: Collections Specialist
Location: Onsite in Arlington, TX 76018
Duration: 18-Month Temp-to-Hire Assignment
Shift: Monday - Sunday, 8 AM - 9 PM (Flexible availability required)
Pay Rate: $19/hr
Primary Purpose:
As a Collections Specialist, you will manage and collect delinquent accounts in a professional and timely manner, following standardized procedures. You'll work closely with customers to resolve issues and negotiate payment arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet collection targets by handling assigned accounts, making calls, and negotiating payments.
Determine the cause of delinquency and recommend the best course of action.
Accurately document all collection activities and communicate with branch lenders as needed.
Order updated credit reports, initiate skip tracing, and process deferrals as required.
Regularly update the collections supervisor on the status of problem accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
6+ months of late-stage collections experience in Auto or Home.
Previous experience in customer service, collections, or sales.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Ability to work in a team environment and accommodate a flexible schedule, including overtime.
Desired Skills:
Bilingual skills are a plus
Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
