Description: - Reports directly to the Vice President and Aeronautics CIO. This position is responsible for Information Technology (IT) strategy, multi-year investment planning, project establishment and execution for capability delivery, and maintenance and retirement of information technology software systems providing critical capabilities to the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (Aero) Engineering function.
This position serves as the primary interface between IT and Aero Engineering enior leadership. Serves as IT Partner and Strategist to the senior leadership. This position works across Aero Lines of Business (Programs), Aero Functions, Lockheed Martin Business Areas (BAs) and with LM Corporate to help align capabilities, roadmaps, and delivery across Lockheed Martin.
Manages a team of leaders who in turn lead IT development and multiple joint IT/Engineering development teams responsible for all aspects of Engineering applications including (but not limited to): Model-based Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Vehicle Cyber, Computer Aided Design/Manufacturing, Program Lifecycle Management, and multiple Air Vehicle Simulation and Analysis disciplines serving all Aeronautics vehicle programs.
Coordinates with Corporate-level development teams to champion Aero development priorities executed outside the local teams for Engineering applications.
Helps drive digital transformation, application commonality and manages technical debt within the sphere of responsibility.
Responsible for ensuring that requirements for new and improved capabilities are satisfied through championing for those capabilities, co-leading selection of related investments with the function, and managing informational technology deliverables within the area of responsibility. Leads development of overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements.
Manages company and third-party vendors as needed for capability delivery.

Basic Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Engineering disciplines, processes, and IT capabilities supporting those processes in an Aerospace or other equivalently complex environment.
Experience leading development, deployment, and integration of in-house developed and large COTS products in a complex environment.
Demonstrated change agent with agile and DevSecOps experience as they are applied to large integrated applications.
Demonstrated strong customer relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated full spectrum leadership skills and ability to hire and retain key talent.
Strong financial acumen and demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Strong demonstrated presentation skills at senior leadership levels
Ability to craft a vision and create and drive an executable strategic plan to achieve that vision
Desired Skills:
Experience with execution of software projects specifically within a SAFe Agile framework.
Experience with PLM applications; Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Systemes 3D Experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $300,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
