Responsibilities:
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders
Read and process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions
Ensure warehouse safety and accessibility for all employees and customers
Adhere to all safety policies, completing work with a commitment to safe practices
Assemble products as needed and participate in inventory counts
Take calls from drivers to confirm load details and ensure timely deliveries
Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying load conditions and timeliness
Qualifications:
Experience Required:
At least 2 years of warehouse experience
Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry is preferred
Experience loading and unloading trailers, using handheld scanners is a plus
Skills:
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills and ability to handle instructions in various forms (written, verbal, diagram)
Flexibility to work different shifts due to freight volume variability
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
Ability to load and unload trucks safely

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
