This position is a highly collaborative role responsible for Tier 1 support and is an entry level position on our HRIS team. The ideal candidate will generally be responsible for the day-to-day HRIS activities including managing tickets, HR systems administration, accurate and timely data processing, auditing, reporting and end-user support. In an effort to help SNC fully utilize capabilities in Workday, you will also have the opportunity to assist on HR activities and projects as assigned, including projects in support of Workday Compensation, Advanced Reporting, Benefits, HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Talent and Performance modules.
As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.
Responsibilities Include:
Support employee related inquiries being assigned to HRIS team via ticketing system (ServiceNow) and monitoring resolution/escalation processes to ensure all tickets are addressed according to SLAs
Administer and maintain the HRIS platform (Workday) ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency. Provide Tier 1 support to end-users on issues and application functionality, and assist with employee data entry and system maintenance tasks as required
Perform routine HRIS updates and maintenance tasks, performs mass uploads and assists HRIS team with other recurring processes (open enrollment, merit, step progressions, performance reviews)
Generate HR data reports on schedule or ad hoc. Create deliverables using data visualization to present data in an engaging way with meaningful insights that can be used for decision making
Assist with HR system testing and release cycles adopting new functionality
Create documentation of processes and assist with training end users
Support HR activities and projects as assigned
Recommends changes and enhancements to business processes and creates audits to ensure data integrity
Must Haves:
Bachelor's of Science degree in IT, Information Systems or related field of study and typically 0 - 2 years of related work experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in a business environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with HR systems and data entry
Ability to manage multiple projects, assignments in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently
Proficient in MS Office Products
Preferred:
Experience with Workday HCM
Experience in an HRIS or HR analyst role
Experience in Human Resources, with a general understanding of HR practices and policies
Estimated Starting Salary: $64,853.15 - $89,173.08
