The Opportunity: This position will be responsible for managing the cost, revenue, cash, and schedule requirements for our exciting key programs and new program pursuits. This position will operate within a government-contracts environment and report to our Program Management Office. How I will Contribute: Responsible for all aspects throughout the program lifecycle. Reports program status to senior leadership. Drives program execution and deliverables to align with both internal and external delivery targets. Manages budgets, scope and schedule requirements. Actively assess risk and implement mitigation plans. Drives project momentum and alignment across external customers, Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations amongst other business stakeholders. Identifies and pursues follow on opportunities with existing program customers. Works closely with the Sales team and customers on new opportunities, defining requirements and expediting orders. Leads proposal preparations through estimation, document creation and leadership approvals. Supports the division's orders, revenue and profitability goals. What You Bring to Safran Federal Systems: A minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field. Bachelor's Degree required in engineering or a related technical field, Master's Degree preferred; A combination of education and experience will be considered. Prior experience with government contract programs or projects strongly desired. Secret clearance strongly preferred. Microsoft Project, Salesforce and ERP System experience not required but a plus. PMP certification a plus.
