Adecco is assisting a client in recruiting a Transport Specialist in Lake Placid, NY. This is a direct hire opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport program participants to destinations, maintaining flexibility and professionalism
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks
Communicate effectively with airport, airlines, and staff to adjust for schedule changes
Assist passengers with luggage and answer questions about the local area
Adhere to U.S. Center for Safe Sport's guidelines for transporting minors
Respond to transportation needs on short notice
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid New York State driver's license (Class B); clean driving record
3+ years of experience driving multi-passenger vehicles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Drive vehicles in all types of weather and road conditions
Nontraditional work hours, primarily weekends and evenings, in addition to holidays as needed
Preferred:
Class C license (required within one year)
Schedule & Pay:
Part-time (20 hours/week), including weekends/evenings as needed
$18.00 - $19.50 per hour with eligibility for a 5% annual bonus
