Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer Test (Integrator) in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support SEIT functions with our Speargun Ground program.
This position may be located at our Morrisville, NC, or Aurora CO sites.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Working in multiple environments as part of a collaborative team
Define and execute test activities
Develop verification strategies from technical requirements
Develop and execute regression tests in development and operational environments
Analyze test artifacts for compliance with requirements and technical performance metrics
Experience developing detailed test procedures, test reports, and executing test activities
Familiarity writing bugs and deficiency reports
This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 (Principal) or a level 4 (Sr Principal), depending on the candidate's experience as laid out in the basic qualifications detailed below as well as the interview assessment.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Engineer Test (Integrator)
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application
Must be willing to submit to and able to pass a polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer Test (Integrator)
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application
Must be willing to submit to and able to pass a polygraph
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's degree; 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Automated Testing Tools
Experience building and maintaining configuration
Ability to debug and problem solve when things don't work out of the box
Experience working in a cross-functional agile team
Experience building and maintaining configuration
Familiarity working in a Linux environment
Salary Range: $88,600 - $139,600
Salary Range 2: $109,900 - $173,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
