Job Title: Logistics Specialist (Temp to Hire)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift: Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations, focusing on Track and Trace functions. You'll be responsible for logistics support, including order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain customer profiles and enter loads into the Freight Optimizer system.
Communicate updates on problem loads to account managers and inform customers about load statuses.
Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring timely and safe arrivals.
Handle check calls from drivers to confirm timely deliveries and validate load data.
Investigate issues related to product overages, shortages, and damages, completing necessary documentation.
Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments as directed by account managers.
Provide clear routing instructions to drivers.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of logistics experience.
General knowledge of the transportation industry.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to write routine reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to follow instructions accurately, both written and verbal.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
