Responsibilities
Primary experience with all areas of Interoperable Enterprise Military Communications and Networking Technologies, including Line of Sight (LOS), Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS), onboard and off-board
Familiarity with Advanced Communications and Networking system development, integration, test, procurement, and sustainment, as well as Information Exchange Requirements (IERs), Network Centric Warfare, and Communications/Networking Subsystem integration into the overall Weapon System
Knowledgeable experience with common interoperability and communications test and certifications (e.g. AIMS, JITC, NSA, etc..) is highly desired. The position will require an understanding of Communication Systems development, integration, and architecture and associated development systems engineering for communications, networks, and interoperability
Experience with software-defined communication systems is highly desired
Responsible for leading the technical execution of communication systems risk reduction, development, and integration which includes requirements definition/refinement, risk management, and the evaluation of functional, logical, and physical architectures/interfaces
Execute communication systems associated risk reduction, integration, development, test, and qualification activities
Ability to lead Government and industry teams in the development of technical plans, design reviews, test reviews, technical assessments, etc.
Develop technical briefings and must be experienced at communicating technical content to wide range of audiences including senior leaders
Secondary experience in all areas of Civil Communications, and Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT), (e.g. CNS/ATM) are beneficial but not required for this position
Qualifications
Must have 15+ years of experience
Required TDY travel approximately 20%.
