Upon hire you will work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, no weekends required!
Pay Rate
The wage for this position is between $32 and $40. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
As a Ultrasound Technologist you will:
Review patient's medical history and physician's instructions.
Prepare equipment for procedure. Selects appropriate equipment settings.
Explain procedure to patient and records any medical history that may be relevant to the condition being viewed.
Direct the patient to move into positions that will provide the best view.
Spread gel on the skin to aid in the transmission of sound waves.
Operate special equipment to direct nonionizing, high-frequency sound waves into areas of the patient's body. The equipment collects reflected echoes and forms an image that may be videotaped, transmitted, or photographed for interpretation and diagnosis by a physician.
View the screen during the scan, looking for visual cues that contrast healthy areas with unhealthy ones.
Select images to show the physician for diagnostic purposes.
Take measurements, calculates values, and analyzes the results in a preliminary report for the physicians.
Keep patient records and adjusts/maintains equipment.
Comply with safety, infection control, and quality improvement policies/procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in sonography from an accredited school.
Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) Certification
Current CPR certification
Minimum of one year of experience working as a certified Ultrasound Technologist

Pay Details: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour
