We are seeking candidates with outstanding leadership experience, strong academic performance, and excellent communication skills to join our Government & Public Services practice.
Work You'll Do
As a Summer Scholar, you will be an integral member of a client service team, collaborating with diverse and talented team members to help solve multidimensional problems, improve performance, and generate value for our clients. You can capitalize on our cross-industry presence to find your niche and build your individual brand within the organization. This person should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate findings.

Business Summer Scholar
This Summer Scholar regularly employs a business first lens while solving problems and delivering practical solutions to clients. This Summer Scholar demonstrates a breadth and depth of capabilities (e.g. project management, requirements gathering, data analysis, testing) and is prepared to take on a range of business and organizational challenges to deliver premier client service. This Summer Scholar brings effective knowledge of various enabling applications, project management and related tools/techniques, and delivery approaches to advise, implement, and operate projects. Majors: Business, Economics, Public Policy, Government, Psychology, Industrial and Labor Relations, Human Resources, Operations, Supply Chain, and other Liberal Arts majors

Our practitioners will be able to maintain the specialization they have built to date in certain areas while also learning how it connects to broader issues in the market. We are committed to continuously supporting our practitioners as they build skills in either one specific part of our business or across the business - our Portfolio is structured to facilitate this learning. Required Qualifications
Current enrollment in a full-time academic program with a target graduation date by August 2026 or a Bachelor's Degree in these or related areas of study : Business, Economics, Public Policy, Government, Psychology, Industrial and Labor Relations, Human Resources/Human Resources Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and other Liberal Arts majors
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Strong academic track record (3.2 cumulative GPA required, 3.5 cumulative GPA preferred).
Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (e.g. 100 mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start date
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $35/hour.
