LinQuest is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator I to join our team remotely. US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required.
The Senior Subcontracts Administrator I will represent the company throughout the subcontract lifecycle (e.g., proposal evaluation, negotiation, award, subcontract execution and closeout). This position will involve a variety of business tasks that require analytical skills and close attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Government Furnished Property and must work across departments to ensure the completeness and accuracy of subcontract records.
Responsibilities:
Proposal support.
Government Property Lead.
Establish subcontracts and subcontract files, coordinate work requirements with the Project team, and define terms and conditions.
Prepare subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, analyze and evaluate proposals, and negotiate subcontract provisions.
Review, draft, and negotiate, as necessary, the terms and conditions of non-disclosure and teaming agreements, subcontracts and other subcontract related documentation.
Procurement of build to print detail parts and assemblies from engineering drawings in support of various aircraft programs.
Responsible for advising and observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations related to subcontracts.
Prepare and maintain subcontract files in accordance with approved purchasing system requirements.
Select or recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts.
Negotiate and coordinate any additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
Maintain contact with senior project management regarding subcontractor performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience, or Associates degree and 2 years additional experience.
6+ years of experience required.
Knowledge in U.S. Government (FAR/DFARS) Contracting.
Ability to effectively work with the management of other organizations as well as representatives of Government agencies.
Prior experience with various contract types such as IDIQs, Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, etc.
Experience with contract negotiations.
Ability to work well under pressure and short deadlines.
Ability to work with little oversight and follow established policies and procedures including acquisition laws and regulations.
Conversant in Microsoft Office applications.
Exercises independent judgement and proactively handles supplier/vendor issues.
Strong presentation and written communication skills.
NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) or similar.
Ability to obtain clearance.
US citizenship required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Contract Management or related field, or equivalent preferred.
10+ years' experience preferred.
Compensation: Salary ranges from approximately $80,000 - $90,000, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
