Serco has a great opportunity for you to take a role as part of the Global Logistics Augmentation and Staff Support (GLASS) team in supporting the Army Sustainment Command in Hawaii. Join an integrated government-industry team insupport of multiple program functions. Specific tasks include the following: Operations and Plans, Desk Officer, ORSA, Training and Exercise, Automation/Database Management and Cost Management Support Services. You will provide a wide range of customer requirements in the Army supply systems and operations.Use your expertise and collaborative skills to positively impact our national defense and make a difference in the world's greatest Army.
This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a Secret clearance.
This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.
In this role, you will:
Provide advice and recommendations of high level officials regarding operational plans and concepts.
Design data collection requirements to support operational planning.
Research and respond to inquiries, assisting with the management of regional and worldwide plans, collaborating with the Customer.
Have in-depth research and analysis of policy, regulation, directives or industrial issues.
Assist in preparing briefings and special studies, updating and maintaining operational and plans files within a Share Point site.
Track changing requirements; review and perform gap analysis for Operational Plans.
Participate in training and exercise events.
Assist in the development and management of Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects, assisting in the developing and updating exercise event scheduling requirements, assisting in conduction training courses for Government personnel and monitor and track changing requirements.
Be familiar with the development and documentation of training and exercise scenarios and how command post exercises are conducted.
In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $81,153.39 to $131,873.27; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of directly related military experience in development of war plans, contingency operations plan to support real world contingencies and military training exercises and military mission analysis.
In lieu of a Bachelors degree, 4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a total of 14 years.
Demonstrated practical experience in the areas of expertise required in the Task Order, Performance Work Statement.
Expert knowledge of logistics doctrine and interface regarding multiple logistics functions including interrelationships of supply, maintenance and transportation management within a Division-Corps Theater level of operation.
Experience Developing operational plans and concepts.
Extensive knowledge of Military decision-making process (MDMP) IOT develop and write appropriate directives, exercise WARNORDS and associated annexes.
U.S. Citizenship
An Active Secret Clearance
The ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
