Role Title: Program Manager, Merchant Growth Tools
Duration: 9 months (Nov-2024 to Jul-2025)
Work Location: Full Time, Mountain View (MTV)
Work Schedule: M-F, 7am-4 pm Pacific Time. Hybrid Model: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Pay Rate: $73.31-$97.37
Project Overview:
As a Program Manager within the Shopping organization, you will be instrumental in executing cross-functional initiatives to create experiences and features that support Merchants as well as enhance Shoppers' experiences. You will manage projects through the entire lifecycle, including setting project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating goals to stakeholders. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, UX, and Analysts across the Merchant Growth Tools and Merchandising teams.
Overall Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful transfer of projects.
Implement continuous improvements across various domains and advise stakeholders on execution best practices.
Guide cross-functional stakeholders on best practices, including Engineering, Product, UX, and Analytics teams.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, Engineering Teams, UX, and Analytical leads to ensure successful delivery of key projects.
Develop and maintain project plans and trackers, conduct effective meetings, and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.
Implement project management tools and processes to enhance development velocity and cross-functional collaboration.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
Experience: ~4-5 years as a Program Manager (preferably Technical Program Manager), with experience equivalent to Program Manager level.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in working with Product and Engineering teams and effectively operating in a cross-functional environment, involving UX, Analysts, BD, Marketing, Legal, Operations, etc.
Communication: Strong ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders, including upwards and across teams.
Software Lifecycle Knowledge: Proficient in managing the software product lifecycle, including phases such as Ideation, UX and UXR, Setting Program Objectives, Workstreams, Milestones, Tracking Development, Testing, and Rollout.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Google's tools, processes, or organizational structure.

Pay Details: $73.00 to $97.00 per hour
