Soldering 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:
· Perform production assembly from formal work instructions and drawings.
· Bring up date manual and computerized status reports and logs per department requirements
· Perform moderately complex assembly and/or soldering tasks using tools such as hot tweezers, cutters, soldering iron, solder pot, and stereo microscope.
· Work on more than one product within the department or company.
· Understand and do complex inspections (solder joints).
· Understand Kan Ban and small-batch size requirements. Able to help others with keeping Lean changes on track.
· Provide training to lower-level employees with support from lead.
· Provide leadership within some task groups when lead is not available.
· Understand production requirements with a moderately broad scope.
· Assist with inventory and department status activities to a moderate level, under guidance from the lead.
· Able to work occasional overtime (Saturdays included)

Requirements:
· Strong communication and reading skills.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience
· Ability to work from schematics and blueprints.
· Ability to read and understand technical work instructions.
· Ability to read a scale/ruler.
· Strong computer skills in Word or Excel
· Six Sigma, 5S, and Lean experience a plus.
· Experience with using needlepoint, fine embroidery, sewing, model assembly or other hobby/work experience requiring fine manual dexterity and working with small parts.
Shifts Available:
Shifts are available from Monday - Friday, 2 pm - 10:30 pm with some overtime

Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
