Adecco is partnering with a client in Carlsbad, CA, to recruit an In-Process Quality Inspector for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The In-Process Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining quality standards by inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process, recording inspection results, and communicating findings to the appropriate departments. This position focuses on in-process inspections to ensure product consistency and uphold quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform in-process inspections across all technologies to ensure product quality.
Use measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
Interpret technical drawings for dimensional and visual standards.
Create NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for materials that don't meet standards.
Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles when measuring.
Record inspection results in the internal QA database.
Maintain and properly use inspection and measurement tools.
Provide feedback on inspection results to relevant departments.
Report inspection issues to the QA Manager or QC Lead.
Additional duties as assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
Experience using hand measurement tools is essential.
Familiarity with Windows PCs and Microsoft Office.
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standards is a plus.
Shift:
2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 12pm- 8:30 pm
