Job Overview: As a Test Operator, you will be responsible for performing tests and inspections on electronic or mechanical products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Your role involves operating test equipment, conducting tests according to established procedures, and documenting test results accurately. Attention to detail, technical proficiency, and adherence to safety protocols are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Execution: Perform functional tests, electrical tests, or mechanical tests on products using specialized test equipment and tools.
Setup and Calibration: Set up test equipment, calibrate instruments, and ensure all testing procedures comply with technical specifications and standards.
Data Collection and Analysis: Record test data, interpret results, and document any deviations or anomalies observed during testing.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues or defects in products during testing, working closely with engineering or quality assurance teams to resolve problems.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all tests are conducted accurately and products meet quality requirements before release. Follow quality control procedures and guidelines.
Maintenance and Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of test equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks and keep records of equipment maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or automated test systems.
Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously follow test procedures, accurately record data, and identify subtle product defects.
Problem-Solving: Capability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during testing.
Communication: Clear communication skills to report test results, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document procedures.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve production and quality goals.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training or certification in electronics, mechanical testing, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience as a test operator in manufacturing, electronics, or a similar industry is advantageous.

Pay: $23 - $25/hr
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
