Description
SAIC is seeking an Associate Modeling & Simulation Software Developer on the Horizon Program to support to the US Space Force (USSF) Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, California .

Software development for modeling, simulation, & analysis in support of United States Space Force acquisition decision process
Focusing on integrating simulation tools into an automated system-level trade study execution architecture
Modeling satellite mission simulations using internal and commercial off the shelf packages
Qualifications
This is you:
Bachelor's degree engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, aerospace, or astronautics with 1 year of related experience with:
Satellite orbital mechanics & maneuvers, remote sensing, spacecraft launch/command/control, and/or satellite communications
Programming languages: Python, MATLAB, Java, or C++ Simulation development with MATLAB, Simulink, STK, GMAT, or FreeFlyer
Git (with GitLab or GitHub), SubVersion, ClearCase, or other revision control system supporting branched development
Managing files & directories, network file sharing, installing software & licenses, and command line shell (Windows Cmd or Bash)
Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired Qualifications:
Prior industry experience in aerospace or space & defense
Systems engineering background/interest, with experience defining and executing trade studies
Software requirements, design, and architecture using UML or SysML
Experience in DOORS, Cameo, or Sparx EA
Experience implementing trade studies in Ansys/Phoenix ModelCenter
Software development, unit test, build, and release cycle using DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Agile process (Scrum, Kanban). Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
