CACI is seeking an AI Program Business Analyst to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Headquarters, Chief Technology Officer Directorate (CTOD), Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology (AI/ET) initiative. This team works with a federal workforce staff with technical expertise for the smooth functioning of high-visibility, department-wide AI initiatives. Federal government business analyst work experience, Agile framework Business Analyst experience in an IT environment, and a demonstrated passion for AI are ideal.
This is a remote work eligible position.
Responsibilities:
The AI Program Business Analyst works with stakeholders to define business requirements, translate business requirements to functional, user, and system requirements, and develops supporting materials such as use cases, flowcharts, context diagrams, and data flows. The ideal candidate will have experience developing business, functional and system requirements, and user stories for web applications. They will provide support relevant DHS' AI adoption strategy by drafting topic ideas; coordinating working group sessions; coordinating relevant stakeholder engagement; drafting analytic summaries and recommendations for working group reports; conduct research and provide analytical support to assist in research activities, conducting analysis and drafting recommendations in support of policy and governance documentation; and analyzing federal and industry AI trends as they relate to DHS' AI adoption strategy. They will be a strong team player who is able to work effectively and efficiently.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions by working with the customer and stakeholders to define and document customer requirements/user stories that will be developed by the development team
Support the project team to ensure implementation meets specifications and requirements and customer expectations
Serve as primary contact with the Subject Matter Experts
Work with QA testers and developers to perform system testing to ensure application functionality works correctly. Testing may include both manual and automated testing efforts to include both regression and targeted testing of new software capabilities.
Responsible for supporting the client through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and any support for defect management during UAT process
Assist with change management processes and activities
Maintaining Kanban and similar project/pilot activity boards
Coordinate project activities and complete project documentation
Manage and maintain the Knowledge Base/Knowledge Repository
Develop and produce documentation, reports, and presentation materials
Track risks and opportunities within assigned projects
Create and distribute project & operational reports
Coordinate project activities with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet deadlines
Coordinate, host, and facilitate as required recurring project/operational meetings as necessary
Develop informational products for internal and external stakeholders in the form of fact sheets, reports, memos, and recommendations.
Assist in development of briefings for internal and external audiences, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the current guidelines and policies
Perform quality control to include editing documents for grammar, format, and content
Assist in coordinating draft responses, talking points, and other materials for use during working groups and other meetings
Conduct research and provide analytical support, conduct analysis and drafting recommendations in support of the governance documentation

Qualifications:
Required:
US Citizen, with ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred
BA/BS and 5 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent (equivalency includes MA + 2 years applicable experience or AA + 7 years applicable experience)
Experience working with stakeholders and users to identify and document proposed functional changes to business processes, workflows, or technologies
Experience collaborating with cross functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
Ability to work independently on multiple, simultaneous complex tasks with minimal direction and management oversight
Awareness of 508 compliance requirements
Desired:
Experience working with business and IT clients to identify business problems and document solutions
Experience with Agile methodology
Passion for AI and awareness of challenges and issues with AI adoption
Able to discover relevant data, understand the context it is being used, and apply experience analysis to turn data into useful information
Experience with data collection and integrating disparate data sources into easily understood decision support tools (dashboards) that drive decision-making
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to relate effectively with program employees, government/client representatives, and internal organizational functional representatives
Experienced receiving initial information and guidance, conducting research to better understand requirements, and achieving high quality results
Ability to ensure compliance of products made available for public release on government sites

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$62,200-$130,600
