Network Engineer
The Opportunity:
As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll help the DoD deploy a reliable network to support national defense. You'll work with customers to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You'll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you'll put your hardware and software talents to good use. You Have:
Experience as a network engineer
Experience planning, designing, and executing network hardware infrastructure installations
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewalls
Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of VMware, including software defined switching
Knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS or Azure
Knowledge of implementing and designing LANs and VLANs
Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technology
Ability to schedule and plan day-to-day activities to meet deadlines
Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients
Bachelor's degree
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
