Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator - "W-TRS"

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Environment, Health and Safety Lead, coordinates and supports the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety standards and programs across the program.
*Monitors environmental compliance issues and provides assistance with workplace safety matters.
*Implements corrective/preventative actions and continuous improvement activities as directed.
*Coordinates audits and reviews.
*Develops technical documents including EHS procedures, programs, and guidance documents.
*Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing necessary information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and safety regulations.
*Helps with ESH risk management and tracking ESH-related training for program personnel.
Education/Experience:
(2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The worker is primarily in an office environment. Programs will require travel to and working in outside environments at government locations from hot and dry to cold and humid. PPE required to mitigate environmental and safety hazards.
