Position Overview: Cole Engineering Services is seeking highly motivated candidates to join a team in testing new software and hardware baselines for PCTE.
This position is located on site in the Fort Meade, MD area and is 100% full time on site.
Responsibilities:
Candidates will support the design and creation of hardware/software test cases, scenarios, and procedures that incorporates the use of a variety of software applications and tools. Performs unit testing, configuration item and system level tests, and support verification/validation testing as required. Develops test plans and test reports for all levels of testing performed. Works closely with the customer, development staff and systems engineers to thoroughly understand the system requirements and software implementation. Will be required to work with a team of Engineers from a diverse background of expertise.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as computer engineering, computer science, information technology, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university. May substitute relevant military or work experience in lieu of degree.
1 - 3 years experience in a Test Engineer position testing new software baselines, as well as supporting installation of software and hardware.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance is required.
Preferred Experience:
Cyber Operations Training
DevOps experience.
Experience with Jira/Confluence
Hardware troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
Experience with virtualization
Familiar with Linux.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance:
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with the ability to attain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $65,000, Salary Maximum: $85,000
The annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. When extending an offer, CESI also considers other variables such as (but not limited to) work experience, education, training, skill set, internal peer equity, clearance level, and market conditions.
