Position Scope and Charter
We are seeking TH-57 Maintenance Control Specialists for our AHTS contract at NAS Whiting Field, Milton, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical and administrative duties to ensure contract compliance and reporting as defined in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program Standard Operating Procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, Original Equipment Manufacturer manuals, applicable ISO, and Navy Instructions.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of NALCOMIS/OOMA aircraft maintenance software, database management, reports, and processes.
Responsible to record and report aircraft discrepancies to the proper work center, maintain aircraft registers and status boards.
Initiate, screen, and complete work orders and Maintenance Data Systems for correct entries and data IAW COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series.
Maintain Aircraft Discrepancy Book (ADB) in accordance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series.
Maintain MDS in accordance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series and other applicable Navy Instructions and Company Instructions.
Verify MDS with parts on order, ADB, and work centers.
Responsible to Maintenance Control Supervisor in performing those duties assigned.
Be thoroughly familiar with the duties assigned to Aircraft Issuer to such a degree that you can accomplish those tasks when assigned.
Within 45 days of entering the position, must qualify and continually maintain certification to release aircraft "safe for flight".
Complete maintenance data forms and screen for completeness and correctness.
Coordinate and maintain aircraft rinse work orders and rinse sheets.
When qualified and authorized by the Maintenance Control Supervisor, may control and direct ground movement of aircraft in support of the maintenance effort.
Monitor and assist the line move crew when operating inside the hangar.
Be thoroughly familiar with all requirements contained in government Instructions, manuals, and procedures that relate to the assignment of aircraft for scheduled missions.
Maintain cleanliness of the work center and around your assigned work area.
Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract, facilities, and job assignment.
Document work accomplished on government and company electronic and/or manual Information Systems
Assist in ensuring the safety, security, inventory, and preservation of Government-owned and Company-owned equipment.
Ensure compliance with established Maintenance/Work Instructions and Company policies/procedures.
Provide data for Government CDRLs (reports) as required by Contract.
Must have extensive working knowledge of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series, OPNAV 3750 series, applicable ISO, Federal Aviation Regulations, and Navy Instructions.
Must be able to utilize card files and common office equipment.
Responsible for adherence to and enforcement of the Tool Control Program.
Responsible for adherence to and enforcement of the FOD Prevention Program.
Adhere to and enforce all Company and Government regulations to ensure personnel safety and the security and preservation of Government and Company-owned equipment.
Ensure compliance with required Quality Control policies and inspections.
Perform all other position-related duties as well as other projects and initiatives as assigned.

Position Scope and Charter
Must have three (2) years of specialized experience in aviation maintenance control.
Must meet formal training requirements, including TH-57 aircraft maintenance requirements familiarization, to be certified to release TH-57 aircraft safe for flight(will receive upon employment)
Graduate of Maintenance Control Management-OOMA course C-555-0053 or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Must meet any other qualification standards imposed by the government contract not covered by this agreement.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to generate, compile, analyze and evaluate facts and data using statistical and research methodologies
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate using a two-way radio and/or intercom system.
Must have the ability to develop professional relationships with management, peers, vendors, subcontractors, and customers
Must be able to work weekends, other shifts, and overtime as required.
Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.
Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
Limited travel may be required.
Physical Requirements
Primarily office environment. Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
At times, must be able to work in aircraft hangar environment and board/exit aircraft. At times, must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and stoop. Must be able to walk particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Must be able to work primarily with fingers such as typing. Must be able to work at heights, subject to noise, subject to a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, work on scaffolding, exposure to heat/cold.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
