Description: You will be a Reliability Engineer providing FRACAS, Sustainment, and NRE support to the Sniper/LANTIRN Programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the Lead Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) process to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying opportunities for improvement based on failure data, sustainment costs, support development and implementation of system design improvements.
Managing the failure investigation of failure trends to identify root cause, corrective action, and implementation of the corrective action to improve field performance.
Assessing effectiveness of incorporated corrective actions.
Interfacing with the Reliability Engineering Team, Depot Team, and Program Management to convey failure trends, and status of failure investigations.
Interfacing with mechanical/electrical/systems engineering and procurement to help direct the failure investigation of a particular field failure trends.
Supporting customer operation hours reconciliation and deport repairs reconciliation
Participating in Corrective Action Boards (CAB), Failure Review Boards (FRB), and Yield Improvement Team (YIT).
Reviewing Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), support Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
Additional responsibilities may include reliability predictions, mission reliability modeling, maintainability analysis and other ad-hoc analysis supporting domestic and international customers.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering)
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Experienced with reliability FRACAS and driving failure investigations to root cause and corrective action.
Strong Computer Skills including MS Office
Reliability & Maintainability Experience
Desired Skills:
Active Secret Security clearance with an Investigation in the past 5 years.
Experience with Weibull, Reliability growth, and statistical analysis.
Experience troubleshooting or repairing electronics in military or commercial industry
Experience presenting findings to customers and management
Electronic/Electromechanical testing and troubleshooting
Understanding Engineering drawings/schematics, Mechanical and electronic
Understanding of requirements conforming to current industrial/military standards
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
