The Work

We are looking for talented systems engineers to join our team, working with other engineering disciplines to help develop many best-in-class products and solutions.
As a Member of the Software Configuration Management (SCM) team on the Joint Strike Fighter Training & Logistics program, your mission is to maintain the integrity and traceability of the software released by the program to its customers.
As a Software Configuration Management Senior Analyst, you will:
:
Track and maintain all program software and data on training devices
Manage and control all configuration changes
Assign unique identifiers to software and data used by training devices
Support routine engineering reviews and configuration audits
Review changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
Ensure that data and physical media have all appropriate labels and markings
Disseminate data to the program and government customers
The team operates in a software-focused environment where a variety of software tools are employed ranging from MS Office, to the Atlassian suite, to DOORS Next, to internal bash/python/PowerShell automation scripts. Strong computer skills are expected. The tasking of the team varies day-to-day based on program needs, so organization and communication skills are important to ensuring tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
Note: This position requires on-site presence in the Orlando office to meet client needs. Seeking individuals with the ability to intermittently flex work hours to support program schedules.

You're the key figure in managing hardware/software tracking, leading engineering efforts, ensuring compliance, resolving issues, and supporting project activities.
This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin, as well as obtain a Special Access Program U.S. government security clearance within a reasonable time after starting the position. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
A level 3 employee is typically mid-career and has 3 to 5+or more years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Must obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to Start
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
Proficient in Microsoft office products and using software platforms
Demonstrated experience supporting Configuration/Data Management Systems
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Git Version Control System
Experience in engineering tools GitLab, JIRA, Confluence
Experience in software artifact storage systems such as Nexus or Artifactory
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
Experience analyzing hardware and software systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
