Description: Works in the Production Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.
Individual could be assigned to Program or Manufacturing Operations.
Program Planning:
Individual will be responsible for the oversight of one or more of the various elements of program planning for Fire Control or Tact Missile program(s) including release of purchase orders to Supply Chain Management for materials needed on the program. This position could include monitoring engineering changes and creation/updates to bills of material. Monitoring production schedules from various manufacturing centers here in Orlando as well as Ocala.
Work outside of the normal operating hours may be required.
Manufacturing Planning:
Individual will fill the requirement for a Factory Operations Manufacturing or Make Planner in one of four Production Operations Centers. Responsibilities will include scheduling and integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies. Status and reporting of manufacturing build. Effective management of kit issues and fulfillment of hardware needs to support manufacturing build. Effective factory implementation and cut-in of engineering and process changes. Prioritization of work flow in partnership with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members.
This opportunity is for JASSM/LRASM Development programs including (LRASM C-3, JASSM D/B-3, and upcoming development activities)

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 5+ years of professional level related experience or Masters degree and 3+ years of professional level related experience, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Past experience with Make and Buy Planning, manufacturing and and/or Make Planning experience
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Very good organization and communication skills
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance after accepting an offer and before starting the role.
Desired Skills:
Degree from an accredited college in the field such as supply chain management, operations management, or have business SAP ERP experience
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas
Interest in and ability to obtain Green belt certification
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs including Microsoft Office
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
