Description: Works in the Production Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy, or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.
Individuals could be assigned to Program or Manufacturing Operations.
Program Planning:
The individual will be responsible for the oversight of one or more of the various elements of program planning for the Fire Control or Tact orders to Supply Chain Management for materials needed for the program. This position could include monitoring engineering changes and creation/updates to bills of material. Monitoring production schedules from various manufacturing centers here in Orlando as well as Ocala.
Work outside of the normal operating hours may be required.
Manufacturing Planning:
The individual will fill the requirement for a Factory Operations Manufacturing or Make Planner in one of four Production Operations Centers. Responsibilities will include scheduling and integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies. Status and reporting of manufacturing build. Effective management of kit issues and fulfillment of hardware needs to support manufacturing build. Effective factory implementation and cut-in of engineering and process changes. Prioritization of workflow in partnership with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5+ years of professional experience; or 3+ years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience with SAP
Experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing environments
Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance
Desired Skills:
Degree from an accredited college in the field such as supply chain management, operations management
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
knowledge, including: experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas
Ability to obtain Green belt certification
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Very good organization and communication skills
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
