Warehouse Specialist - Patrick SFB Commissary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in a warehouse position.
Pre-employment drug test.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Background screening for access to the work areas.
Forklift certified or become certified.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Warehouse experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, wrapping machine, etc.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting warehouse operations, receiving shipments, cycle counting, stocking, and general preparation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The list of essential functions below is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this job. Other duties may be assigned based on business need.
Receive incoming warehouse deliveries by unloading, sorting, and verifying quantities on packing slips.
Maintain organization of all warehouse inventory, by ensuring all products are stored in their proper stocking locations.
Provide internal material handling of products to include transporting products between work areas.
Preform stocking functions; to include stocking in the freezer and chill section.
Ensure the warehouse area is clean and organized.
Ensure the Warehouse remains organized according to contract specifications.
Operate forklift to unload trucks and move merchandise.
Maintain and provide reports and other documentation as assigned. This includes, for example:
Warehouse truck logs, proper counts, and production information.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate physical effort usually involving some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 40 pounds). May involve some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, or standing. Reasonable accommodation, when practical, can be offered to accomplish the above requirements.
SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
The warehouse is not climate controlled, employees may be exposed to high temperature, humidity, cold, etc. Employees will also be exposed to cold temperatures in the freezer and chill section.
