Location(s): Fort Meade, MD
Job Summary: Supports office administrative functions for a large office of professional staff.
Responsibilities:
Greets/welcomes visitors, assists with badging, and directs individuals to meetings.
Ensure that all visitors are appropriately badged and signed in to visitor log.
Assists with planning and coordinating office-wide processes such as facilities maintenance, space planning, moves, equipment installations, and other events or projects with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitors inventory and places orders for office equipment, supplies, or provisions.
Handles incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
Communicates needs and guides janitorial staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years administrative support experience.
Sound judgment capability and discretion with confidential information.
Problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Self-starter, organize assignments, prioritize tasks and complete projects on time.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail required.
Must be team player.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
2-year or 4-year college degree is preferred.
Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
Other Requirements:
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to maintain a Top-Secret security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
