We are seeking an experienced and proactive SME for Pathfinder Application to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation, upgrade, and deployment of INGENIUM/PathFinder and other JAVA-based applications for our clients. This role requires a strong technical background in Java, web technologies, application servers, and middleware products. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, administration, and support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Essential Job Functions
Supports development and various SDLC phases of Pathfinder application implementation, and upgrades.
Have a good know of deployment of INGENIUM/PathFinder and other JAVA based applications for clients.
Works within client's prescribed project implementation methodology and follows applicable standards
Provide administration and technical support for web technology during the design, development, testing, and implementation of business applications
Administer the WebSphere Application Server, including authentication, authorization, and application deployment
Perform problem determination, performance tuning, and monitoring of the production environment
Understand and advise on SOA and ESB architecture and best practices
Lead targeted evaluation efforts of new technology products, such as pilot and proof-of-concept
Manage ongoing security requirements for WebSphere Application Server
Research and correct security scan report issues related to middleware products
Provide statistics and reports on the operation of WebSphere and systems as required by the group
Create and maintain documentation and diagrams to support the management of the Web server and WebSphere environment

Creates test scenarios and performs unit testing of programming changes
Maintains a solid understanding of technical environments for web applications keeping abreast of new functions and changes that may impact the physical implementation
Makes recommendations to the development team to meet platform / technical and functional requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Extensive experience in deploying and optimizing applications to WebSphere and other application servers
Strong technical expertise in web technologies, application servers, and middleware products
Proficiency in administration and technical support for WebSphere Application Server
Knowledge of SOA and ESB architecture and best practices
Experience with API-level development, including Web Services
Proven ability to lead evaluation efforts of new technology products and resolve programming problems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience or know-how of IBM WebSphere Administration or other Application Servers
Platform experience on UNIX and Windows
Good to have Experience with DXC IP INGENIUM and PathFinder
Java EE and Web development experience is required
Proficiency in Java, XML, HTML, JSP, JavaScript and CSS is a must
Knowledge of COBOL is an asset

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $84,100 - $156,100.
