We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of ten years of relevant work experience.
The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in middleware technologies such as WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, MicroFocus Cobol, Mainframe batch processes and IIS.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum ten years of relevant experience.
· AWS Cloud Practioner Certifications or equivalent experience
· Proficiency in middleware technologies including WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, MicroFocus Cobol, Mainframe batch processes and IIS.
· Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
· Proficient in AWS services, S3 buckets, EKS clusters, ECS clusters, containers, kubernetes, and terraform scripting.
· Ability to work on weekends to cover 24/7/365 projects and go-lives.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick learner mindset.

Responsibilities:
· Installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of applications hosted on various middleware platforms such as WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, and IIS.
· Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to middleware technologies.
· Monitoring application and infrastructure alerts and ServiceNow tickets on a 24x7 basis.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery.
· Contributing to patching and updating the Middleware products as well as the physical servers to ensure they remain compliant with the latest security mandates.
· Contributing to documentation and SOPs related to the best practices we follow.
Position required to support ISB hosted applications and technologies.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,700.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
