Northrop Grumman Missions Systems sector is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst / Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA supporting either Spectrum or Rancho Carmel sites.
Roles and Responsibilities: Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Performs classified document control. Participates in security self-inspections and U.S. Government security inspections.
This position can be filled at either a level 3 or level 4.
Basic Qualifications for level 3:
Bachelors and minimum of 5 years of Industrial Security or related experience or MS Degree and 3 years of Industrial Security or related. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret and a background investigation date within 6 years.
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Organized and efficient at time management.
Excellent customer service
Basic Qualifications for a level 4:
Bachelors and minimum of 8 years of Industrial Security or related experience or MS Degree and 6 years of Industrial Security or related. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret and a background investigation date within 6 years.
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
Working Knowledge of DoD SAP Manuals and the NISPOM.
Working knowledge of ICD-705 Construction Requirements.
Self -Starter
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Organized and efficient at time management.
Excellent customer service
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification, or SAP-Mid Level Security Management Course.
CPSO or CSSO Experience
Working knowledge of NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals.
Working knowledge of COMSEC.
Working knowledge of ICD-705 Construction Requirements.
Working knowledge of Northrop Grumman and Government systems (ESIS, DISS,JADE)
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision
Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100
Salary Range 2: $109,900 - $164,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
