Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mission Assurance Program Manager 3. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA and will support our Mission Assurance team.
What You'll Get To Do:
Support Mission Assurance (MA) functions to ensure mission success
Perform technical reviews of all drawings, SOWs, PQP, and Requirements documents as required.
Assist in Managing the Program Quality Management System and ensure adherence to corporate/sector policies and procedures as well as contractual requirements
Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of tasking.
Provide MA leadership and oversight to critical program reviews including design reviews, test readiness reviews, certifications and sell offs.
Identify MA and Quality resource requirements to ensure mission success.
Lead/facilitate Program Corrective Action Request Review Board ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions and reach back and reach across.
Lead preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB). Maintain Program Metrics.
Support preparation of Mission Assurance Review packages.
Support Supplier Mission Assurance with technical expertise and oversight of suppliers to include TIMs, MRAs, coordinating GSI and FAI.
Staffing and daily management of Mission Assurance personnel assigned to the program
Performance management - Health of the program via IPRS - Assesses program performance and risks and validate performance metrics reporting
DCMA Supervisor Interface - Develop and maintain relationships with the end customers and their quality representatives to ensure Northrop Grumman is delivering a quality product

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below; OR a Masters degree and 8 years (or a Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below;
Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in aircraft, aerospace, manufacturing, quality, program management, engineering, and/or business management related functions
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Experience in root cause and corrective action processes
Strong orientation to change in a dynamic and logistically challenging environment
Advanced level of understanding of complex quality policies, procedures, and governmental regulations
Ability to analyze alternative courses of action where decisions have risk/reward implications for program or area of influence
A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to all levels of any organization
Strong people leadership skills in developing others
Ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
DCMA and AS9100 Quality Management System compliance knowledge

Salary Range: $164,300 - $246,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
