The Senior Police Intelligence/Intelligence Analyst will conduct comprehensive intelligence research-both unclassified and classified-across various networks to identify threats and trends related to domestic and international terrorism, criminal activities, and military threats. Key responsibilities include preparing and presenting detailed reports and time-sensitive products to senior leaders and other stakeholders, coordinating with various agencies, and traveling for conferences and meetings. The position also requires expertise in data correlation, link analysis, and applying specific analytic research methods and guidelines. Additionally, the role involves proofreading and editing documentation and reports to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Responsibilities
Will provide unclassified, OSINT, unclassified, and classified LEI, CUI, and classified Police/criminal/law enforcement intelligence or military intelligence research on multiple computer networks for threat personas, networks, and groups, both CONUS and OCONUS.
Will provide written and oral presentations of OSINT, unclassified and classified LEI, CUI, and classified research to DOD, Army, and Federal Agency Senior Leaders as well as the community of interest at large as directed by the ARTIC Chief.
Shall prepare and present time-sensitive products to meet indication and warning requirements for wider dissemination and inclusion into the system that projects the common operating picture.
Will prepare, proofread, edit, and revise documentation, products, and reports.
Will perform data correlation, link analysis, and trend identification and assessment as required to ascertain linkages and patterns associated with domestic and foreign threats and domestic and international terrorism-related incidents and operations.
Will coordinate and dialogue with ARTIC community partners across the Department of the Army, DoD, Intelligence, and Federal, State, Local, and Tribal Law Enforcement agencies to support the ARTIC mission.
Will travel to attend conferences and collaborative meetings with ARTIC community partners as required.
Will apply the analytic research methods required IAW the ICD 191, 203, 206, 209, and 710, DIA Sourcing Guidance, and 28 CFR Parts 16, 17, 20, 22, and 23.
Shall perform data correlation, link analysis, and trend identification and assessment as required to ascertain linkages and patterns associated with domestic non-felony related criminal and international/transnational criminal threats and operations, unauthorized installation access incidents and operations, and other emerging threats that affect DoD personnel, facilities, and equities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in intelligence or crime analysis, OR high school diploma or GED equivalent and 6+ years of relevant employment experience.
Graduated from a recognized law enforcement/criminal/police intelligence course OR a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) producing military police, military or civilian investigator, or military intelligence course.
4+ years of experience in either law enforcement and/or military intelligence.
6+ years of experience in criminal/police/law enforcement intelligence or military intelligence.
Must be a US Citizen.
Adjudicated DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance within the last five years.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be willing to support 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends, and federal holidays, in a government-furnished SCIF.
Must have the ability to perform in a high operational tempo environment with a small group of highly trained professionals and be capable of making quick recommendations for the ARTIC Chief's approval.
Must have broad expertise in research, analysis, and writing and be able to triage questions, issues, or events involving domestic and foreign terrorism matters.
Contractor personnel shall have experience in verifying facts, dates, and statistics using standard reference sources.
Must have experience presenting threat research analysis in both written and oral briefs.
Must have experience in preparing, proofreading, editing, and revising documentation, products, and reports.
Must be proficient with Windows-based programs, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have hands-on experience with law enforcement or intelligence web-based portals, databases, and software apps.
Must have experience with any of the following resources: Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) (Intelink-S), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) (Intelink), Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A), National Crime Information Center (NCIC) of Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE), VANTAGE, Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal (LEEP), Criminal Justice Systems (Title 28 CFR) Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN), Criminal Investigative Information System (ACI2), guardian, Guardian, Combating Terrorism Knowledge Base, Open Source Databases, NCTC, TIDE, CIA Wire, M3 or Analyst Notebook and Microsoft Power BI Data visualization tool.
Must have experience with any of the following agencies or organizations: Office of the Provost Marshal General, Criminal Investigation Division, Air Force Office of Special Investigation, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Protective Services Intelligence, Department of Defense Military Intelligence Agencies, Defense Intelligence Agency, National Counter-Terrorism Center, Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Homeland Security, US Secret Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Army Counterintelligence Command (902nd MI Group), US Customs and Border Patrol, Transportation Security Administration, Law Enforcement Agencies, State, Local, Tribal, Federal.
