Tuknik Government Services currently has an opening for a Senior Vendor & Supply Chain Risk Management Analyst. This position will be located in Arlington, VA and will support TGS and our government customer. This opportunity offers the chance to work with some of the best and brightest minds in the Department of Defense and US Industry to develop, implement, and transition Artificial Intelligence (AI) capability across the Department. This position is with the CDAO Special Projects Team, which supports and advises operations and activities across the CDAO in areas of artificial intelligence, data management, and enterprise analytics, largely provided through a diverse and expansive vendor portfolio. We are searching for an experienced Senior Vendor & Supply Chain Risk Management Analyst to assist the Department of Defense's Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer to inform leaders with expert advice and insights into proposed risk decisions involving acquisitions. The analyst will develop methods to by using commercial and intelligence sources to research and assess the full range of factors that a source selection board or acquisition officer needs to consider when making a procurement decision. The analyst will routinely liaise with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Supply Chain Risk Management-Threat Analysis Center (SCRM-TAC), Combatant Command Vendor Threat Mitigation Cells, DoD Committee for Foreign Investment in the US (CFIUS) leads, and other relevant DoD/USG law enforcement and counterintelligence entities.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a staff advisor to the Chief, Special Projects supporting CDAO Program Protection activities, specifically on topics related to risks presented through vendors, supply chains, and associated acquisition pathways.
Propose to the Chief, Special Projects tools, accesses, and relationships required to fully develop the CDAO Vendor Threat Mitigation Program.
Prepare written risk assessment reports including known threats, vulnerabilities, and proposed mitigations informing CDAO acquisition efforts.
Participate in the USD(A&S) Vendor Threat Mitigation Task Force to best inform CDAO vendor and supply chain risk management activities.
Perform objective reviews on specific vendors including sub-vendors and supply chains.
Review CFIUS filings relevant to CDAO equities, to include documentation relating to mergers and stock purchase agreements, corporate ownership structures, and USG contracting information.
Conduct due diligence and fact-finding research with DoD stakeholders to assess risk arising from foreign direct investment and the implications relative to DoD's artificial intelligence, data analytics, data management and high-performance computing.
Author risk-based assessments to inform the CFIUS Mitigation team with recommendations regarding covered foreign investments with national security concerns.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in risk analysis related to USG Acquisition programs, specific experience with DoD and/or AI/ML, Data Analytics programs preferred.
Experience with common tools used in research and risk analysis of companies and supply chains, both in commercial and national security applications.
Previous experience authoring and delivering high-level briefings with strong written and oral communication skills to USG senior staff and executives.
Must be a self-starter that can recognize needs and act with little to no guidance.
Ability to rapidly understand and apply new concepts.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
Advanced MS Word skills; proficient PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook application skills.
Bachelor's Degree required with a desired focus area of National Security, Economics, Business, or International Relations
Desired:
Extensive knowledge and experience with NIST SP 800-53 NIST Risk Management Framework
Previous extensive CFIUS case management experience

Comprehensive understanding of the pacing threats posed from principal adversaries as it relates to Great Power Competition in AI, Data and Analytics.
Security Pre-Requisite :
To be considered, you must have a current /active TS/SCI-level security clearance.
This requirement cannot be waived.
