CACI's Mastodon Design team in Rochester, NY specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers' next requirement. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems. Successful candidates must be willing and able to obtain a security clearance and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
We are currently seeking a Lead Software Tester with a background in software test and evaluation. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of software test experience with a focus of regression testing and test development.
Responsibilities:
Verification and validation of software and hardware products.
Lead a team of software testers.
Design, implement, and conducts test and evaluation procedures.
Identify system and software problems, record defects and reporting the results of testing.
Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for integration, functional, regression and user acceptance testing.
Create new test plans, test cases, and update existing tests while working with developers testing new software as it is completed.
Qualifications:
10+ years related work experience in software test.
Ability to obtain and maintain minimally a Secret clearance.
Experience leading a team of Software Testers.
Experience with functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
Ability to create test plans, test procedures, and problem reports.
Organized and capable of updating test plans and cases based on problem reports and customer feedback.
Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Testrail.
Comfortable working with Linux and windows operating systems.
Self-starter who likes working in a team environment
Solid interpersonal as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired:
A strong understanding of RF fundamentals.
Former EW/SIGINT system operator.
Familiarity with RF tactical communication systems, applications, and wireless networking.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$43,900-$87,800
