This opportunity will be a part of an Army Materiel Development Team that supports the deployment of specialized tactical and strategic SIGINT systems (server/workstation/receivers) in accordance with a baseline infrastructure. This position is for a member of a mission software integration team which is responsible for creating the approved baselines as deployable images (both Windows and Linux) as well as installing for new systems. The SIGINT Systems Integrator/Engineer is responsible for of racking/stacking servers and workstation hardware for internal lab to include: cabling, installing and configuring OS (using virtualization) as well as 3rd party application installation and configuration to meet Army standards and regulations.
Travel includes CONUS and OCONUS locations - and may be for periods of 2-4 weeks at a time.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active TOP SECRET SCI Clearance and CI Polygraph is required for this position. Sequoia Strategies & Solutions can facilitate getting polygraph for qualified candidates with active TOP SECRET/SCI without a current CI poly.
Candidates without active TS/SCI clearances will not be considered.
5 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. 6 years' work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Detailed requirements include:
Past experience with SIGINT systems administration or integration.
OS Environment: Windows (10,2012,2016), CenTOS (6,7) Hyper-V, Linux KVM, Docker (container deployment/management is desired, but not required).
Tier 3-Level serverworkstation experience
Basic networking troubleshooting experience
Familiarity with Bash, PHP, Kickstart, PowerShell, HTML
Desired Skills
Familiarity with Java, Python, C++
Familiarity with SQL and NOSQL
Background with SIGINT sensors and IT/Authorization services.
Software scripting capabilities for software provisioning, Remote Control (status & health) and management of OSs and VMs.
