TQI Solutions is actively seeking a collaborative and skilled Project Manager C5I to join our dedicated team. As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities:
Support the development, promulgation, and implementation of Fleet maintenance and modernization requirements, policies, processes, and procedures.
Assist in planning and executing integrated Fleet maintenance processes, including establishing policies and responsibilities for determining, authorizing, planning, scheduling, performing, and evaluating ship maintenance to ensure quality, safety, and required levels of operational and material readiness are maintained.
Aid in the revision of US Fleet Forces Directives and Instructions, as needed.
Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for Navy warfare systems certifications, including AEGIS Combat Systems (ACS) Combat Systems Certification Panel (CSCP) events and meetings, and AEGIS Combat Systems (ACS) Combat Systems Mission Readiness Assessment (MRA) events.
Offer technical and analytical support for requirements definition and documentation.
Provide advice and assistance in areas such as mission needs and requirements analysis, concept of operations development, program tradeoff analysis, and program roadmap creation, including technology insertion, platform integration, and support planning.
Assist in writing SECNAV Waivers, justifying fleet needs for equipment, and detailing overhaul processes.
Support the government lead in facilitating AEGIS/SSDS Software Certification boards.
Help the government lead in analyzing the Optimized Maintenance and Modernization Plan (OMMP) schedule and addressing NAVSEA 05 interoperability problems.
Accelerate scheduled installs to correct Strike Group Interoperability issues and capability gaps.
Assist the government in developing OMMP business rules.
Aid the government lead in preparing naval messages for risk assessments.
Support the government lead in preparing Flag-level briefs as required.
Support the Naval C5I Modernization Council, working on actions, etc.
This is a full time, salaried, exempt position.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline
At least ten (10) years of recent experience overseeing maintenance and program management of C5I systems aboard surface combatants ships. Prior EMO experience highly desired.
Superb knowledge on Aegis weapon system BL 5/7/9 and/or SSDS weapon system
Knowledgeable on Caps and Lims, Link 11, 16 and 22, IFF, C2P and CDLMS.
Knowledge of Con-Ops for AEGIS/SSDS.
Ability to communicate effectively with the customer and other SMEs concerning requirements and have the skills to translate them into functional requirements
Modernization C5I policy knowledge a plus, but not necessary.
Alternate Acceptable Qualifications:
Master's Degree with seven (7) years of General Experience, five (5) years must be of recent Specific Experience.
Ideal candidate is one with prior Electronics Material Officer (EMO) experience and/or detailed understanding of EMO duties/responsibilities.
The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
