The Opportunity:As Business Development Manager, NAVWAR, you will be responsible for government pursuits involving Navigation Warfare, Electronic Warfare, PNT/GNSS Threat Simulation, and related technologies. The Business Development Manager, NAVWAR is a critical team member who will enable sales growth by executing a variety of business functions in accordance with SFS' strategy.Job Responsibilities:Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities involving Navigation Warfare and related technologiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, defense contractors, and industry partners.Monitor and assess Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) relevant to SFS' capabilitiesEngage with customers to understand future partnership opportunities associated with NAVWAR and Electronic WarfareAssist Product Management team in identifying capabilities for integration into future product roadmapsCoordinate with internal technical teams to ensure that proposals meet customer requirementsResearch and communicate industry trends to identify potential sales opportunities. What You Bring to Safran Federal Systems: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent military/industry experience is requiredA minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Business Development role or related functionUS Defense industry experience preferredExperience working with Electronic Warfare, GNSS, and/or Position, Navigation, Timing technologies preferredActive US Government security clearance preferred, or ability to obtain a US Government issued security clearanceExperience with US Government solicitation processFamiliarity working with US Government compliance and export regulationsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to remain poised under all circumstances, and to interact effectively with people in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust. Ability to exercise independent judgment and make decisions. Excellent writing skills with the ability to generate large documents on short timelines. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
