CAES Mission Systems, Lancaster PA is seeking a Program Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be a key team member responsible for program financial planning and analysis, while enhancing value and visibility to the Program Management Office (PMO). Your direct efforts will drive more proactive decision making and improve the profitability of our business. Responsibilities
Perform as a subject matter expert on various program finance processes and procedures
Cultivating and maintaining cross functional partnership with Program Management, Contracts, Procurement, Operations, and Engineering
Creating work breakdown structures (WBS), charge numbers, and assigning Task Order Assignments within Oracle ERP
Developing time-phased program baselines to track cost and schedule for a portfolio of programs
Utilizing an Earned Value Management System (EVM) to track, measure, and analyze program costs, status, and performance
Tracking material expenditures from a consolidated bill of material (CBOM) and monitoring production touch labor
Utilizing data collection and reporting systems to provide weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to support internal and external customers
Providing variance analysis and assessing program risks and opportunities
Forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing key program metrics (Orders, Sales, Gross Margin, Shipments, Cash) analysis and reporting to senior leadership
Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP)
Working collaboratively with program team and senior leadership to generate and present financial metrics on program performance
Developing and analyzing program estimates at complete (EACs) for Gross Margin adjustments
Helping to develop standardized Program Finance policies and procedures
Supporting proposal development, fact finding, audits, and negotiations
Supporting special projects and Kaizen events to continually improve business processes
Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years' of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role; or Master's Degree and minimum 1 year finance/accounting experience
Microsoft Office proficiency and Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.)
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role; or Master's Degree and minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a finance or accounting role
Previous Defense Industry experience
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
Familiarity with Oracle, IFS or other ERP systems
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with Program Managers and across other functional areas
Independent self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work under deadlines and constraints
Location:
Position can be based out of our facility in Lancaster, PA or Lansdale, PA. Preferred location would be Lancaster or willingness to travel on a routine basis to support the team on-site.
Salary Range: Financial Analyst II ($65,203 - $94,608) and Financial Analyst III ($72,874 - $109,311). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
