Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. In our Portfolio Engineering Lead (PEL) role in Electronic Combat System You will be building a career in a cohesive team atmosphere leading team that span new Electronic Warfare capability development through a large and dynamic production environment for our newly formed Advanced Programs Portfolio as part of ECS Small Form Factor Solutions (SFFS) Product Line. Within the Advanced Programs Portfolio, the PEL will be the primary engineering leader for a family of products focusing on program execution, new business growth, product leverage, product evolution, and continuous improvement. The PEL provides engineering leadership for the product line during all lifecycle phases. The successful candidate reports to the SFFS Product Line Engineering Lead.

Within the Advanced Programs Portfolio, the PEL will be the primary engineering leader for a family of products focusing on program execution, new business growth, product leverage, product evolution, and continuous improvement. The PEL provides engineering leadership for the product line during all lifecycle phases. The successful candidate reports to the SFFS Product Line Engineering Lead.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
Partner with and support the Product Area Director and staff to develop and deliver products and systems that meet our customer needs
Partner and collaborate across all the functions to effectively support engineering across the portfolio
Identify and support the development of critical skills and employees
Engineering focal point for all activity within the portfolio including strategic planning ,bid and proposal support for engineering content, engineering strategy and integrated plans on programs, engineering staffing, issue reporting, and risk and opportunity management.
Partner and collaborate with program managers, functional engineering managers, and factories to ensure program goals, requirements, and needs are understood and achieved.
Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.

Proven ability to share and transfer technology across organizational boundaries to the benefit of our customers and the business
Excellent collaboration skills working across systems, software, hardware and firmware engineering disciplines and with customers and program management.
Engineering background and leadership skills with experience in multiple aspects of the product development lifecycle
Ability to lead a medium to large group with diverse cultures and individual differences.
Proven performance management, mentoring, coaching, and communication skills

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Secret Security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access clearances, and Top Secret Level Clearance.
Bachelor s degree and Minimum 12 years of technical leadership experience and mission/domain knowledge of emerging RF capabilities relevant to the business
Prior experience leading production programs with transition to production knowledge
Prior experience transitioning technology into EMD and production phases.
Aptitude for Agile Methodologies and Lean Product Development
Project engineering management including organizational design, planning, estimating, design management, and product verification
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
As a leader, the PEL must also:
Work across organizational boundaries to solve problems and secure resources.
Recruit, train, develop and retain Program Engineering Managers (PEMs) to meet business needs.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
